Reviews & reputation
Reviews help other members understand what a transaction was like before they decide to buy, sell, or meet in person.
What gets rated
There are two reputation paths on the platform:
- Buyer to seller review: A buyer rates the seller after a completed transaction
- Seller to buyer feedback: A seller rates the buyer after a completed transaction
For individual users, those signals can be shown together on a unified profile. For organizations, only seller-side reputation is shown.
When you can leave a review
You can leave a review only after the transaction is verified.
That usually happens in one of two ways:
- The purchase was completed through the platform
- The seller gave you a cash purchase confirmation code and you redeemed it in the app
Only one review or feedback entry is allowed for the same transaction path, so duplicate submissions are blocked.
Where reputation appears
Seller profiles
Seller profiles show seller-side reputation, including:
- average rating
- review count
- trust badge status
- recent written reviews when available
Organization profiles stay in this seller-focused view.
Member profiles
Individual user profiles can show reputation in three ways:
- All: combined reputation across seller and buyer activity
- As seller: buyer reviews left about that member as a seller
- As buyer: seller feedback left about that member as a buyer
If a member has activity in both directions, the filter chips let you switch between them.
Listing pages
Listing pages can show quick trust and review signals for the person or organization behind the listing so you can get context before starting a conversation.
How buyer-to-seller reviews work
- Complete the purchase
- If the deal was cash, redeem the seller’s confirmation code
- Open the review screen
- Choose a star rating
- Add an optional written comment
- Submit the review
After submission, the review contributes to the seller’s public reputation and trust evaluation.
For cash deals, see Cash purchase confirmation.
How seller-to-buyer feedback works
Sellers can also leave feedback about buyers after a qualifying transaction.
This helps other sellers understand whether a buyer:
- followed through
- communicated clearly
- completed the transaction as expected
Buyer feedback contributes to buyer-side reputation for individual users. It does not create a buyer reputation model for organizations.
How reviews affect trust
Trust badges are based on verified activity and recent behavior, not only the average star rating.
Reviews and feedback can influence whether someone appears as:
- Trusted
- Earning trust
- Not yet rated

Tips for writing helpful reviews
- Be specific about what happened
- Focus on the transaction, communication, and follow-through
- Keep comments respectful and factual
- Avoid sharing private contact details or sensitive information
Why you might not be able to submit
You may be blocked from leaving a review if:
- you are not signed in
- the purchase is not verified yet
- the confirmation code is invalid or expired
- the review was already submitted for that transaction
If a cash purchase is involved, start with Cash purchase confirmation.Last modified on April 12, 2026
