> Who owns listings, who can edit or delete them, and what happens when you leave an organization

# Listings & Ownership

## Who owns a listing?

A listing is owned by **either**:

* An individual seller (`seller_id` is set, `organization_id` is null)
* An organization (`organization_id` is set, `seller_id` is null)

Never both.

## Who can manage an organization's listing?

The current permission model is:

* **Owner/Admin/Manager**: can edit listing basics, details, photos, documents, inventory, and status
* **Staff/Member**: can manage inventory only
* **Staff/Member**: cannot edit basics, details, photos, documents, or status

## Who can delete an organization's listing?

Only **Owner/Admin/Manager** can delete organization listings. Staff and members cannot delete listings.

## What happens to listings if I leave an organization?

The listings stay with the organization. You lose access to edit or manage them.

## What happens to my personal listings if I join an organization?

Nothing. Your personal listings remain yours. Organization membership is separate from personal selling.
