<Update label="July 2026" description="Settings tabs, Browse lanes, and help updates">
  ## Settings tabs, Browse lanes, and help updates

  Profile settings and Browse navigation are easier to find, and help docs match the new layout.

  * **Tabbed Settings**: Profile is organized into **Account**, **Selling**, and **Preferences** (notifications live on Preferences)
  * **Browse lanes**: Marketplace Browse uses **All**, **Livestock**, **Pets**, **Adoption**, and **Feed** (Pets replaces the older Breeders lane name)
  * **Help & Support**: Message support, report options, and FAQ links from **Profile** → **Account**
  * **Docs nav**: Quick vs complete listings is listed under Listings; new how-to pages cover Browse lanes and Help & Support
</Update>

<Update label="June 2026" description="Trust evaluation and AI reputation summaries">
  ## Trust evaluation and AI reputation summaries

  Trust badges now use a newer evaluation flow that considers verified recent activity, seller reviews, buyer feedback, and written reputation patterns.

  * **Seller, buyer, and member trust**: Profiles can show trust in the context you are viewing, including seller-only, buyer-only, and combined member reputation for individual users
  * **AI review summaries**: Eligible profiles can show summaries of verified written reviews or seller feedback so members can scan reputation patterns faster
  * **Clearer trust guidance**: Trust, review, and AI summary docs now explain why a badge or summary may be missing, why status can change, and how to interpret badges alongside reviews
</Update>

<Update label="June 2026" description="One-step cash sales">
  ## Cash sales in one step

  Recording an offline sale and giving the buyer their confirmation code is now a single flow, and codes generated earlier are easy to find again.

  * **Cash Sale flow**: From a published listing, **Cash Sale** lets you set how many sold for each row and generate the buyer's code together — the inventory change and the code are applied in one step, so a code is never issued against a change that didn't go through
  * **Review active codes**: Open **Cash Sale** to see the listing's active (unclaimed, unexpired) codes and re-show a QR or short code you generated earlier, including away from the buyer
  * **Edit Pricing**: The former **Manage Inventory** action is now **Edit Pricing** for live listings — update cash and card prices with quantities locked; reduce stock through Cash Sale and add stock when you extend or renew
  * **Accurate availability**: Selling the last animal on a listing still marks it **Sold Out** automatically
</Update>

<Update label="June 2026" description="Seller listing fees, broadcast outreach, and marketplace improvements">
  ## Seller listing fees, broadcast outreach, and marketplace improvements

  Sellers now pay listing fees through Stripe Checkout when publishing, extending, or renewing listings, and several post-purchase marketplace flows were improved.

  * **Listing fee activation**: Sellers choose a duration and optional add-ons on Step 5, then pay through secure Stripe Checkout (or activate free when a credit or free-listing org applies)
  * **Paid Extend and Renew**: Active listings can be extended, and expired or past-window sold-out listings can be renewed with the same Step 5 checkout flow
  * **Inventory edits for new listing windows**: Sellers can update inventory before paid Extend or Renew; those changes apply only after checkout finishes
  * **Listing credits at checkout**: Referral and admin-granted credits waive the base listing fee in the pricing summary; paid add-ons are still charged separately
  * **Checkout recovery**: Web and native apps return sellers to Step 5 after payment; Android recovery and server-side backstops help finish activation if the return is interrupted
  * **Cash Sale inventory**: Sellers can record sold quantities while generating a cash confirmation code so listing inventory stays current
  * **Buyer checkout**: Buyers can purchase multiple inventory lines in one order, apply seller coupons, and add optional services such as delivery, boarding, or supplies
  * **Stripe payouts**: Sellers and organization admins can set up card payouts from **Payouts & earnings**, accept seller responsibilities, review current card-sale fees, and track onboarding status
  * **Delivery pricing**: Per-mile delivery uses the buyer's selected address and server-calculated driving distance without exposing the seller's exact pickup location before purchase
  * **Receipts and sale records**: Successful purchases send buyer receipts, notify sellers, update inventory, and create review eligibility after payment is finalized
  * **Seller earnings**: Sellers can review recent card transactions, net earnings, pending amounts, refunds, and coupon-backed purchases
  * **Delivery-aware emails**: Buyer receipts and seller purchase notifications now describe delivery details when a delivery add-on is purchased
  * **Message buyer and seller**: Purchase emails can deep-link to the buyer-seller conversation when a chat channel is available
  * **Review handoff**: Buyers can leave a seller review after a card purchase without needing a cash confirmation code
  * **Sold-out listings**: Sold-out and expired listing pages now show clearer availability messaging instead of appearing broken or removed
  * **Guest return flow**: Guests who sign in from a listing return to the listing with selected quantities restored when possible
  * **Proposal reliability**: Trait, certification, species, and breed proposals now persist more consistently and support feed-aware suggestions
  * **Review links**: Seller-to-buyer review links now resolve the correct buyer profile from deep links
  * **Notification cleanup**: Review reminders no longer post into chat threads
  * **Checkout safeguards**: Card checkout better handles seller readiness, self-purchase blocking, unavailable inventory, refunds, disputes, and duplicate webhook events
</Update>

<Update label="May 2026" description="Native push notifications">
  ## Push notifications and mobile badges

  The iPhone and Android apps can now send push notifications for messages, reviews, feedback reminders, and proposal updates.

  * **Native push**: Supported notifications can appear when the app is in the background or closed
  * **Message routing**: Tapping a message push opens the related conversation when possible
  * **Notification controls**: The **In-app & push** preference controls both the notification center and push delivery for each notification type
  * **Badge sync**: App and notification badges stay aligned as notifications are read or cleared
</Update>

<Update label="May 2026" description="Listing expiration reminders">
  ## Listing expiration reminders

  Sellers can now receive reminders before a listing expires and after it expires with inventory still available.

  * **Expiration timing**: Active listings can send 7-day and 3-day reminders when inventory remains
  * **Renewal reminders**: Expired listings with remaining inventory can send a renewal reminder
  * **Seller actions**: Eligible sellers and organization leaders can open Extend or Renew from email, in-app, or push notifications
</Update>

<Update label="April 2026" description="Reputation and trust updates">
  ## Reviews, trust, and cash confirmation

  Members can now build and inspect richer reputation history across listings, profiles, and verified transactions.

  * **Unified member reputation**: Individual profiles can show combined reputation, plus separate views for activity as a seller and as a buyer
  * **Cash purchase confirmation**: Sellers can share one-time confirmation codes for cash deals so buyers can confirm the purchase and continue to reviews
  * **Trust badge guidance**: Public trust surfaces now link to documentation that explains trust badges and how verified activity affects reputation
</Update>

<Update label="March 2026" description="Listing management update">
  ## Manage published listings

  Sellers can now open a published listing from the **Sell** tab and manage it without starting over.

  * **Manage screen**: Open a listing to edit basics, details, photos, documents, inventory, and status from one place
  * **Status controls**: Mark listings sold out, reactivate sold-out listings before expiration, and renew expired listings
  * **Inventory safeguards**: Active listings can reduce quantity, but cannot add new rows. Sold-out listings may restore availability only for reversed sales, only within the current listing window, and never above the original amount
</Update>
